App won't load

If MustStash is stuck on a loading screen, you see the spinner indefinitely, or the app just will not open, there are two main things to try.

Refresh MustStash

If you are using MustStash in a web browser, first try refreshing the browser page.

You can usually do this by clicking the browser's refresh button.

Keyboard shortcuts:

  • Windows: F5
  • Mac: ⌘ R

If a normal refresh does not work, try a hard refresh.

A hard refresh is just a stronger refresh. It tells your browser to reload MustStash more completely instead of using the version it already saved on your device.

Keyboard shortcuts:

  • Windows: Ctrl + F5
  • Mac: ⌘ Shift R

If you are using the MustStash app on iPhone, iPad, or Android, fully close the app and open it again.

Clear stored data from your device

If MustStash still will not load, the next step is to clear the MustStash data stored on your device.

This only clears the saved MustStash data on that device. It does not delete your stash, projects, wishlist, or account.

Choose the guide that matches how you use MustStash:

Only clear data for MustStash, not for your entire browser or all apps on your device. Clearing all browser history or all site data may log you out of other websites you use.
